A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the ICB Islamic Bank Ltd. and The Structural Engineers Ltd. (SEL) at SEL Center, Dhaka. Under the agreement between the two parties, the clients of The Structural Engineers Ltd. (SEL) can avail home finance facilities at a very attractive interest rate with discounted processing fees from the Bank.Muhammad Shafiq Bin Abdullah, Managing Director & CEO of ICB Islamic Bank Ltd. and Engr. Md. Abdul Awal, Managing Director of The Structural Engineers Ltd. signed the MoU on behalf of their respective Organizations.Arpit Vinodbhai Parikh, Chief Operating Officer & COO of ICB Islamic Bank Ltd., Moyeenuddin Ahmed, Head of Business, ICB Islamic Bank Ltd., Md. Tareq-Us-Salam, Head of Investment Risk Management, ICB Islamic Bank Ltd., Engr. Manager (Recovery), The Structural Engineers Ltd. and Alid Ahamed, Executive (Legal Affairs), The Structural Engineers Ltd., were also present at the signing ceremony.

The 32nd Annual General Meeting of ICB Islamic Bank Limited was held at TCB Auditorium”, TCB Bhaban (1st Floor) on Thursday 11th July, 2019.The meeting was presided over by the chairman of the bank Datuk Mohd. Nasir Bin Ali. Directors of the bank Ms. Hashimah Binti Ismail, Mr. Sivagukan Thambirajah, Independent Director, Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, Muhammad Shafiq Bin Abdullah, Company Secretary, Imran Bin Ahmad were present. A large number of shareholders of the bank also attended the meeting.
ICB Islamic Bank Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU), Implementation Monit-oring and Evaluation Division of Planning Ministry on 'Receipt of Payments from Tenderers under Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System' recently. The signing ceremony was held at the Conference Room of CPTU of Planning Ministry campus at Agargaon in Dhaka. Under the MoU, CPTU will provide the bank access to e-GP Portal Dashboard. Nominated focal persons of the bank will also receive training from CPTU to start e-GP payment services for tenderers. The bank will receive e-GP registration fees, registration renewal fees and tender document fees from registered tenderers and upload the payment information on e-GP portal, said a press release. With the MoU signed with ICB Islamic Bank Limited the number of banks now having MoUs with CPTU has stood at 46. Until 23 December 2018, the number of tenderers registered with e-GP stood at 53586. A total of 1282 government procuring agencies are now connected to e-GP. There are about 1324 procuring agencies in the country. So far 2 lakh 35 thousand 830 tenders worth taka 2 lakh 24 thousand 453 crore have been invited through e-GP system. IME Division Secretary Abul Mansur Md Faizullah, ndc was present at the signing ceremony as chief guest. Md Faruque Hossain, Director General of CPTU and Additional Secretary, and Muhammad Shafiq Bin Abdullah, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICB Bank Limited signed the MoU on behalf of their respective sides.Senior officers of IMED and the bank were also present at the signing ceremony.
An agreement on Utility Bill Collection and Settlement Service was signed between ICB Islamic Bank Limited and CloudWell Limited on 23rd October,2018 at the bank’s head office premises. The agreement will facilitate the customers to pay bill for electricity, gas, water, telephone, visa fees, through CloudWell's Paywell platform, in any branch of ICB Islamic Bank. On behalf of ICB Islamic Bank MD & CEO Mr. Shafiq Bin Abdullah and CloudWell, Chairman and CEO Mr. Anisul Islam, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Senior officials of both organizations were present at the time.
Titas Gas Transmission & Distribution LImited(TGTDCL) and ICB Islamic Bank Limited (ICBIBL) signed an agreement for computerized online system gas bill collection.SVP & Head of operation of the bank Moyeenuddin Ahmed and Md Abdul Hakim Mukta, Company Secretary of TGTDCL signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations. Managing Director of the company Dr. Mahfuzur Rahman along with high officials of both the organizations was present on the occasion.

ICB Islamic Bank Limited and the Election Commission (EC) of Bangladesh signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for verifying the information and documents of the bank clients at the election commission office recently, according to a statement.
Senior Vice President & Head of Operations of the bank Moyeenuddin Ahmed and Joint Secretary & Director (Operations), NID Registration Cell Md. Abdul Baten signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organizations.
Md. Fazlul Haque, Head of Branch Supervision and Operations and A M Shariar Majumder, Head of IT of the bank and high officials of the commission were present at the MoU signing ceremony.
Under the MoU, ICB Islamic Bank will be able to verify the national identities of all its customers for ensuring transparency and accountability of its banking services.
It will also help prevent identity frauds and ensure the authenticity of Know Your Customer (KYC) forms.
