Financial Literacy Student Program – 28th February, 2023 (Kolabagan)
As per Bangladesh Bank (BB) guideline, ICBIBL has been conducting the Financial Literacy Program with some target groups. ICBIBL has organized the first program at Kolabagan Cricket Academy, Dhaka where the target group was Students. There were 70 students participated in the program.
The program started at 4.30 pm. Cricket Academy Chairman Mr. Syed Selim Ahmed (Jhontu) and Member Secretary of Kolabagan Cricket Academy Najmul Hai Tipu was also present in the program.
At first the program started with a presentation on different topics like how to open a bank account, school banking, foreign remittance, benefits of bank account and identifying fake note. Then we have discussed on various banking services (money transfer, account opening, digital payments, ATM operation etc) and focused on the importance of financial planning and savings with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their finances effectively. They were very enthusiastic about school banking account. Program ended with a lot of thanks from ICBIBL team and distribution of token gifts & snacks.
Financial Literacy Day- 6th March 2023
Financial Literacy Program – 11th April, 2023 (Kawranbazar Branch)
As per Bangladesh Bank (BB) guideline, ICBIBL has been conducting the Financial Literacy Program with some target groups. ICBIBL has organized the second program at Kawranbazar branch, Dhaka where the target group was Underprivileged People. There were 30 people participated in the program.
The program started at 3.00 p.m. At first the program started with a presentation on different topics like how to open a bank account, no-frill account, foreign remittance, benefits of bank account and identifying fake notes. Then we have discussed on various banking services (money transfer, account opening, digital payments, ATM operation etc) and focused on the importance of financial planning and savings with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their personal finances effectively. They have also shared their views and ideas on banking facilities. Customer’s right and protection were discussed among the target group. Program ended with a lot of thanks from ICBIBL team and distribution of token gifts & snacks.
Financial Literacy Program – 19th June, 2023 (New Market Branch)
Bangladesh Bank (BB) has been undertaking several initiatives to bring the financial literacy to common people. In this regard, ICBIBL has been conducting the program as directed by Bangladesh Bank with some target groups. Recently, ICBIBL has organized a program at New Market Branch where the target group was street hawkers. We have selected these groups because they are also contributing to the economy of our country but still out of banking facilities. There were 23 street hawkers participated in the program.

At first the program started with a presentation on different topics like how to open a bank account, foreign remittance, benefits of bank account and identifying fake notes. Recently, ICBIBL has organized a program at ‘Rajshahi Branch’ where the target group was small entrepreneur. There were 22 small entrepreneur participated in the program. In this program, Head of the Shariah Mr. Ahmed Ullah, Rajshahi Branch Manager Mr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman and Financial Literacy Wing Member of ICBIBL were present.

Financial Literacy Program – 4th March, 2024 (Dhanmondi, Kawran Bazar, Uttara, Narsingdi, Barisal,Naogaon, Muradpur, Moulvibazar, Jashore and Sylhet )
As per Bangladesh Bank (BB) guideline, ICBIBL has been conducting the Financial Literacy Day with some target groups. ICBIBL has organized and celebrated the Financial Literacy Day in 10 branch including Dhanmondi, Kawran Bazar, Uttara, Narsingdi, Barisal. Naogaon, Muradpur, Moulvibazar, Jashore and Sylhet. There were around 130 professional individual and businessman participated in the program.
The program started at 3.00 pm in those branches with those participants. Branch Managers informed the participants about how to open a bank account, school banking, foreign remittance, digital transaction, benefits of bank account and identifying fake note. Then we have discussed on various banking services (money transfer, account opening, digital payments, ATM operation etc) and focused on the importance of financial planning and savings with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their finances effectively.
